CrossFit Games Studio Talent Submission
We know that the community is the driving force behind CrossFit. We also know that there are thousands of great stories out there that the community wants to see and hear. We are looking for reporters to represent communities across the globe and to tell stories.  We’re also interested in perspectives from different groups within the community. We want to hear from masters, teens, occupational groups, adaptive athletes, those just starting out in CrossFit, and longtime veterans.

So, ask yourself … Do you think you have what it takes to be a great reporter and storyteller? If so, and you are interested in joining the CrossFit Media team, here’s what you can do:

Reel Submission Requirements:
Do you think you have what it takes to be a great reporter and storyteller? If so, and you are interested in joining the CrossFit Media team, here’s what you can do:

1) Be a local reporter. Dig out a current story within your geographical area. We’d love to hear about the Open and how it might impact something you know about an athlete, an affiliate, a competition, or a cause. You decide the story, but make it something that will spark interest in the community at large.

2) Write the story. We want to see editorial skills. Hit the key highlights in a news report that is 30 sec. to 1 min. in length.

3) Detail your sources. We want to know that you are getting the best quality information and where it is coming from.

4) Perform and record your story on your phone or camera. See notes below for further instructions.

5) Pick an athlete from your area or interest group. Put together notes or a short profile (1 min. max.) of who they are and why they are interesting. Using notes — not a script — perform and record your athlete profile to your phone or camera.

6) Fill out the Gmail entry form and send your videos and script to us.

*Further instructions for recording your story: Please shoot in landscape mode, and be aware of subject and background lighting and composition. Be sure the recorded audio is free of loud noises and outside interference. Reporter candidates will need to demonstrate good recording techniques.
